Kim Swierczewski, Manager and Relocation Counselor
Kim began her career with Above & Beyond in 2013 as a Relocation Counselor, assisting in Tucson and Phoenix, before moving into her current position as Manager. Kim has an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and Management and has spent her career providing excellent customer service in the Retail, Banking, Direct Sales and Relocation industries.
In 1993 Kim moved to Arizona from New York and has never looked back. She loves all Arizona has to offer and sharing her experience and knowledge with everyone she has the opportunity to assist. She enjoys meeting new people and working to help them have a positive experience as they plan and relocate to Arizona.
Kim and her husband are recent empty-nesters, with two of their adult children in Tucson and one in Washington. They look forward to new experiences, while continuing to enjoy all the outdoor activities Arizona has to offer and spending time with family.
Amanda Baus, Relocation Counselor and Liaison, Real Estate Professionals Team – Phoenix
Born and raised in Tucson, Amanda is an Arizona native. She attended Pima Community College and went on to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Northern Arizona University. Prior to joining Above & Beyond Relocation Services’ Phoenix team, she worked for 12 years in the Pima County Library system where she honed her customer service skills and easy rapport with anyone with whom she comes in contact.
Amanda has a huge heart for people and a broad range of interests that work together to enable her to connect with people from diverse places and varying walks of life. She desires greatly to be of service and looks forward to assisting those who are relocating find a home in the place that is so close to her heart.
Amanda is a published author. She is passionate about health, fitness, and living a good, well-balanced life. She chases beauty where she sees it, captures it when she can, and spends every spare moment with her cherished husband, family, and cats.
Chris Foster, Projects Producer & Relocation Counselor
Chris, an Iowa Hawkeye at heart, has lived in Arizona since 1988. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Sociology. After several years in customer service, sales and marketing, she returned to school to earn her degree in Elementary Education. Chris devoted 11 years at home raising two daughters, followed by 12 years teaching in the classroom.
The outdoors, hiking, golf, swimming, snow skiing, and taking long walks with her dogs are what Chris loves. As recent empty-nesters, she and her husband like trying new dining experiences, traveling, and attending UArizona sporting events.
Chris fully enjoys her life as an Arizonan. She has found where she belongs and is committed to educating those who consider and choose to reside here, so that they may find the same happiness and love of our unique and beautiful state.
Martine Kaluske, Relocation Counselor
Martine is a Midwest native with an Arizona heart. She is passionate about helping people discover and experience all that Arizona has to offer! Martine experienced firsthand the stress and emotion brought on by moving when she relocated to Tucson with her family. Martine’s goal is to help her customers seamlessly transition to Arizona.
Martine holds a B.B.A from Davenport University in Business Administration with a double minor in Human Resources and Marketing. In addition to relocation services, she has an extensive background in providing tailored customer service in the private banking arena serving clients within the Unites States and around the world.
Martine and her husband love the outdoors! Whether playing pickleball, quilting, hiking, gardening, or walking their dog Norton, they find a way to capture and experience amazing Arizona. In her spare time, Martine enjoys dabbling in the culinary arts either within her own kitchen or visiting one of Arizona’s fine culinary options.
Kathie O’Hanian, International Services Director and Relocation Counselor and Liaison, Real Estate Professionals Team-Tucson
Kathie is a Relocation Counselor in Tucson, and began her career with Above & Beyond in 2009. She has lived in Tucson since childhood and, with many years working in customer service industries, she enjoys assisting folks settle in the Southwest.
Kathie attended both Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona and holds a degree in Liberal Arts and a certification in Human Resources. Prior to joining ABRS, she held positions as a Business Manager for a private school, and General Manager for a national hotel chain. She has also dabbled in the retail sales market.
Kathie and her husband are empty nesters and enjoy spending time with their two grown daughters and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys photography, home construction, and golden retrievers.
Terrie Ratliff, Relocation Counselor
Terrie is a transplant from the Washington, D.C., area who fell in love with Arizona as soon as she experienced the warm, bright sunlight that shines almost every day of the year. She loves exploring every inch of this fabulous region.
With a Master’s degree in Music Education, Terrie has spent many years in the customer service arena supporting students, parents, and administrators of all ages. She has also worked with the Departments of the Navy and Commerce. She delights in helping others any way she can.
Terrie is a musician who appreciates learning new things and discovering the wonders of the people and places around her. She also enjoys outdoor walks, baseball, genealogy and most especially, her husband and son. She is happy to assist and support you.
Denise Yardy, Designated Broker
Denise has been a licensed real estate professional since 1995, specializing in business sales & acquisitions from 1999-2019. She is an almost-native Arizonan, has co-owned and operated several businesses for over 30 years and understands the importance of quality customer service. Denise has served on many industry-related Boards during her career and she continues to stay actively involved in the Tucson community.
Denise is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and enjoys hiking, biking, golf and most any outdoor activity. Her other hobbies include cooking, nature photography and gardening. She and her husband are devoted to kids and grandkids and spend as much time with them as possible.
Laurie Becker Anderson, Owner/Adviser
Laurie finds living, working and playing in Arizona to be a privilege, and the sharing of the many positives with others to be a bonus.
Raised in Arizona, Laurie graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in elementary education. Following many years in teaching, she left to begin her family and was soon after introduced to the world of relocation. With many business relationships and friends in place, Above & Beyond was created in 2000. We are grateful for our staying-power — thanks to a remarkable team of professionals.
Proud mom to three children, Laurie enjoys time with her family, friends and pets, hosting guests, traveling, running and baking.
